Brio's Glam Shot

 Meet Brio, this “Mr. Personality” is the gelding every amateur or youth longs to own. He has it all! He is sweet, smart, willing, a beautiful mover, and a bit of an imp! At 12 hours old, he found his way into the hay crib. A character, from day one. He loves attention, and affection but he has been raised with good boundaries so he can’t get into your space but if you go into his he is all too happy to be scratched, hugged and kissed. Raised with a combination of imprint training and positive reinforcement, he is curious and bold even being parted from his mother as a baby was not a big deal. He was independent early on. This big, beautiful boy is easy to train, agile and elegant, he will make the perfect forever horse for the rider that wants a life long partner to grow with them.

Brio's mother Destinada DD has won 3 IALHA Championship as did her father Remate. She is 16.2 hands, and registered with the ANCEE and IALHA.  She has won multiple IALHA Championships. Her sire Remate is one of my all-time favorite stallions. Her bloodlines, videos of her and her parents are available on our Mares page. Brio's father is Orfeo PM an imported 16.2 H perlino ANCEE stallion from Spain. Orfeo PM, imported stallion from Spain in 2023 from the Paci Martin stud. He is a revised double pearl stallion on a bay base. Orfeo  is a lovely mover with a  good disposition, and correct conformation.  Most impressive is that his sire is a great great grandson of Gaucho III, another of my favorite stallions. 

This stunning gelding is bred to the hilt for movement with his wonderful work attitude, and personality. Given his talent this gelding will be a perfect companion for a youth or amateur rider. Given his lineage, movement and attitude with on appropriate training he will make someone an outstanding dressage or lightness horse.  

Brio has had no health issues. His birth was easy and without issue. He has been hauled a couple times with Mom. He loaded and unloaded without issue. He is being groomed, led and tied regularly. We estimate that he will be 17H when full grown. His training will continue until he is sold.

Brioso, or Brio is a brick house. In both body and spirit. Brio is quickly approaching 17 H and is a solid, square boy with a sane mind to match, He has outstanding movement with amazing suspension, this boy floats. He’s started doing ground work in the round pen, and he’ll be lightly start him under saddle after his birthday in May 2025. Precious little fazes this boy, although he is a natural comedian and performer. He loves the spotlight, he loves to make you laugh with his antics (throwing his bowl, and anything else he can get his mouth on into the water trough, wanting to be in the middle of anything and everything that is going on). He has a tremendous heart, he is brave and bold there is little he wouldn’t attempt to do for “his” person. Which is all this big lovable gelding wants…a human of his very own that he doesn’t have to share with all the others.
